Your style and mine are a lot alike. Very mellow and oldskool!!

I really like this one dude, only thing is that it needs some movement, its steady paced. You some cymbals, breakdowns, more sounds, add more rhythm into the mix. I like the sounds you have, if your image is titanic sanking, then you should add some intro sound effects, like titanic sample into this nice beat.

Other than that its nice and chill dude, congrats!

I'll be checking on you from now for more beats like this one.

Considering it's a rap beat and not something made to be a song by itself, I think there's quite enough going on as it is. Furthermore, I don't think such samples are required to convey the image I want to convey. I have to let listeners use their imagination, I can't spoon-feed the artistic value of my music to simpletons... I would rather sell 100 tracks to the right people than 1 million to people who don't understand it.

I considered adding cymbals though, but I decided against it because I wanted the drums to be more minimalistic, so I kept them as they are. I got bored with doing the same structure in every song with my drums and I just wanted to keep things simple this time.

Thanks for the compliments though, your words are appreciated. And hey, I'm glad to hear you'll be coming back too. It'll be nice to have some followers to encourage me along the way. Especially considering how new I am to the hip-hop scene ;]

i like it, its got a little bit of everything, just needs a cover solo or breakdown part.

it sounds like a soundtrack or a demo, you need more parts into it.
slow it down at one part and have an extreme build up to excite everyone.

But yea, i can tell you are great. nice of you to upload this on newgrounds!

yea...

its got good sound but it needs different or better sounds.

i like the effects and mood of the song, but maybe it could use different vst sounds, i love the piano, but that beat just kills it...

you got the intro down, just that one arp vst needs changed to something smoother, try downloading z3ta+ I bet you'll like it, they got tuns of stuff.

but yea, great song, piano part was best by the way. :-)

Haha, I was trying to go for a style. Guess it didn't work. Also--what beat do you suggest then? It's not like I can just go all piano all the way, that wouldn't even be a song. =P (It would, but, yeah.) IMO I did what I could with what I wanted to use, but when you say that I could've used better sounds, I guess it's opinion--but the opinion does matter. Thanks.
